Sienna originally moved to Yuma from Canada when she was a child. She grew up here with her family and graduated from Yuma High. Shortly after high school she married a Marine, Joey, and moved to South Carolina. There she started her career in veterinary medicine after graduating with honors from the Animal Behavior College veterinary assistant program. Thanks to orders from the Marine Corps, Sienna and her husband then moved to Phoenix where she worked at another general practice veterinary hospital for 2 ½ years. Next it was a move back to North Carolina. There, Sienna was hired by a veterinary emergency clinic where she quickly learned to work in a fast paced environment with much fewer coworkers. She loved it!
At the end of 2018, after retiring from the Marine Corps, Sienna and her husband moved back to Yuma. Once here, they purchased land and the house Sienna grew up in and adjusted to life outside the military. Sienna is so happy to have found Foothills Animal Hospital, especially since she currently has three Great Danes, Godric, Hadley and Hope, a Boston Terrier named Donnie and two black cats Gixxr and Binx!
In her spare time she helps her Dad by operating heavy equipment and running haul trucks. She’s also busy renovating her house, and in the winter she and Joey do a lot of off-roading in their rock crawler out in the desert.
