Dr. Lance Day was born, raised, and educated in Missouri. He grew up on a cattle, horse and hay farm and participated in 4-H and FFA showing horses and rabbits. Pursuing his animal interest, he attended the University of Missouri for his Bachelor’s of Animal Science and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, he worked in small animal general practice in both Las Vegas and San Diego prior to joining the Foothills team. He is excited to bring his passion for the interest areas of neurology, physical rehabilitation and sports medicine, surgery and diagnostic imaging to Yuma.
When Dr. Day is not in Yuma, he resides in San Diego with his three kiddos (dogs), Dugan (a Great Dane/Lab mix), Adelaide (a Pointer/Cattle dog mix), and Bentley (a French Bulldog). There, he spends his time near the beach (swimming, paddle boarding), hiking, traveling or just spending time outside with his dogs.
